ACC to settle suits over revenue distribution

The ACC is expected to settle four lawsuits over conference revenue and exit fees, using a 60-40 model, 40% split evenly and 60% split on a five-year TV ratings average. Some schools will see a loss of around $7 million in revenue, others could see an increase of $15 million or more.

Based on the podcasts I listen to the exit fee now is going from $500 or MORE million down to $200 million now and less than $100 million in 2030.
Sounds like FSU is getting the out it wants and it could happen anytime as the exit fee is now fixed vs. a nebulous number.

The football powers in the ACC aren’t worth it for the B1G. No academics and they aren’t true blue bloods. The only team not in the SEC that creates any excitement is the school from south bend.

Neither FSU nor Clemson are AAU members if that still matters to the B1G presidents. One reason they were willing to settle is the realization that right now there was no place to go.
