Games are in Tuscaloosa as well. Cats will be “home” team for game 2
Harry
Danielle Williams threw a complete game. Despite this being a Superregional, Bama is offensively challenged. I think they averages less than 2 runs a game in the regional and won game 7 over MTSU 1-0.
I was hoping lax would face Syracuse as I’m sure revenge for their only loss would have been extra motivation - not they they should need it playing for a national championship
Mike, where is this bball thread you mentioned or was that a UNL thread?
Go Cats,
Mark
Stephen’s post on the ASU home/home agreement was part of the WLAX thread, as I recall. (I assume he just hit ‘reply’, not realizing it would become part of that topic not a different topic. Starting a new topic uses a different method of posting, so it is a bit more complex than the old setup.)
I moved it to a new thread, but that was after it had gone out in email, the followup post I made was under the new thread subject (Basketball vs ASU.)

The ESPN announcing crew working the game last night noted that Northwestern’s #12 seed and Alabama’s #5 seed didn’t match up well with their respective records and RPI. No respect for the Cats.

In a reranking video on the NCAA website, the woman offering rankings
had NU #12 and Bama Lama #14 although she downgraded them due to the
injury to Montana Fouts. Fouts pitched for the Crimson Tide and gave up
NU’s three runs in the 3-1 victory.
