They shot well from the free throw line today but only 25% from outside the 3 point line. Wisconsin built up a 7 point lead by halftime and Northwestern couldn’t chip it away. Whether there are any post-season possibilities other than the NCAA Tournament remains to be seen.

Last night the lower seeds won all 3 games, today the higher seeds all won, so the quarterfinals will be the top 8 seeded teams. USC pushed Purdue to the last 30 seconds, though, when Purdue got a generous foul call on an inbounds play IMHO.
Iowa fired Fran McCaffery today after 15 seasons at Iowa. He got ejected in yesterday’s loss to Illinois.
