According to the Trib, Northwestern signed 15 HS players today.

I will “assume” the transfers out were not starters? since I haven’t heard any great cry about them leaving.
I am amazed at the top ranked kids who are transferring because the team recruited a 5 star at their position, and they don’t see how they will beat the new kid out.
I can’t imagine what RW would make of all this - he used to put position players up against each other, then recruit a "on paper better"player to challenge the starter. It worked most of the time, altho a good QB coach would have turned Kain Colter into a version of (the Ravens) Jackson (teach him now to pass the ball).
But losing any player at NU to a bigger program because they were recruited based on our potential play is a royal “Bite.”

Priebe is (was?) mostly definitely a starter on the OL. Maybe the best OL player? So, that’s a big loss. It sounded like (from his post) that he entered the portal due to uncertainty about whether the OL coach would be retained.
