Harbaugh facing possible 4 game suspension from NCAA

As if next week’s Big Ten Media Days needed any more drama, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh may be facing a 4 game suspension as part of a negotiated settlement with the NCAA over recruiting violations.

This is kind of a dumb question, but if the coach is suspended for a game, does it count against his win-loss record?

It looks like the imposition of a penalty on Harbaugh is going to be delayed because the NCAA Infractions committee isn’t satisfied with the deal. It could still come down mid-season but it seems more likely it will get postponed to the 2025 season.
