Players enter the transfer portal for a variety of reasons, but Alabama redshirt sophomore QB may have come up with a new one–he wants to switch to being a lacrosse player.
There’s a theory out there that he’s doing it to preserve football eligibility. Not sure how valid.

Matt Lawson (DT) has entered the portal as well. He was injured in the first game of the year, and he has one year of eligibility remaining.
