Despite the thumping by Illinois, Northwestern is still projected to make the NCAA Tournament, currently as the last bye (eg, a 10 seed without a play-in game.)
Nebraska is now an 11-seed (last-in) team, and I think that was before last night’s big win over Indiana, their first since 2019. Indiana looks like a middle-of-the-conference team this year, but when Nebraska gets rolling they’ll be hard to stop. The Cats play in Lincoln on Jan 20th and the Huskers come to Evanston on Feb 7th, those should be entertaining games.
