The Northwestern kicker, Jack Olsen, was previously at Michigan State
Olsen has been a great pickup.
As for the new entrant to the portal, why would anyone choose NU until they know who the permanent HC will be—unless they are overwhelmed with NIL goodies.

I agree with Paul, until the new head coach is known, don’t expect a lot of recruits to commit or additions from the transfer portal.
