NCAA loses another case regarding eligiblity

A judge has granted an Oklahoma football player another year of eligibility in football, in effect saying that his one season with the Ohio State lacrosse team didn’t start his eligibility clock in football.

If I follow the player’s and court’s logic, it seems like players could get 4 years plus a redshirt year in football, basketball, baseball, wrestling, golf, tennis and underwater pingpong, by which time they should have built up enough money from NIL to retire.

A veritable Van Wilder. Either congress should get involved or the B1G and SEC should split off as the NCAA is just an annoyance at this point.

I think Doonesbury beat them to the punch on that joke by at least a decade.
