Adam Rittenberg is reporting that our 2023 opening football game at Rutgers has been moved from Saturday Sept 2nd. It will instead be played on Sunday Sept 3rd at noon EDT and will be nationally televised on CBS.
Money talks, it seems. Not seeing anything on this on the NU website yet, but that’s often the last place NU news shows up. :sigh:
I can’t imagine this will attract much of an audience. Possibly a game to determine who winds up in the cellar of the last BT 14 team season

Probably a good thing the game is at Rutgers, I would imagine the Evanstonians would be aghast at a game on a Sunday!
