Only 8 Big Ten teams made it to the Big Dance and none to the NIT. The inclusion of North Carolina in the Tournament is one of the more controversial choices in recent years.

The first College Basketball Crown tournament field will probably be announced in the next day or two. The Big Ten is committed to sending at least two teams to this event.

Ohio State and Indiana were left out of the NCAA Tournament and either weren’t invited to the NIT or turned it down.

Sounds like the Cats might not have been invited anywhere even if they hadn’t already opted out.

Chris already said in his postgame interview that the 'Cats were done. Team health via injuries meant this was their last game.

Obviously had the NCAA come a calling it would’ve been a different story, but I understand.

Nebraska and USC are going to the Crown event, but apparently Indiana and Ohio State, teams that just missed the NCAA Tournament, aren’t going anywhere.
