Thursday night games

Looks like Colorado will be a wild ride again in 2024, they can score with highlight-reel plays but the defense still looks a bit shaky. They held off ND State but have to go to Lincoln next week, and I’m sure the Huskers are eagerly awaiting that rematch.

Illinois shut out Illinois State 45-0.

Minnesota’s kicker missed 2 field goals, including a potential game winner, both wide right, in a close loss to North Carolina.

Rutgers wasn’t threatened by Howard.

MSU and Wisconsin play their first games tonight.

We only watched the first half as the weather delay made it too late for us. Luckily my sister and her husband are only 3 miles from the stadium and know the area completely so were able to find a brewery/restaurant to hang out.

Minnesota sabotaged themselves in the first half even though they went into half with a lead.

Awful penalties at key moments
Dropped interceptions
Doinked FG

I still have no confidence in Row the Boat. My Minnesota alumnus sister will be waiting a long time for a Rose Bowl or equivalent with that coach.

It seemed like whenever the ball took a strange turn, it was in NC’s favor.

Husker fans know what THAT feels like after the 2023 season, and the Cats have had some really snake-bitten games, too.

I saw on ESPN yesterday that the NC QB is out for the season with a hip injury…

I thought I read broken leg, but either way, ouch!
