FSU is now 0-2, only the 4th top 10 rated school to start 0-2.
And worse they lost to 2 perceived Meh teams.
Losing an season 0 to Alabama and following it up with a loss at a “good” Clemson for example would be unfortunate, but not unreasonable.
How often do coaches that fail at the upper levels come back and be successful? I am speaking of Manny Diaz who was chased out of Miami(FL) and now head coach of Duke.
Obviously Saban left for the NFL and failed miserably there and came back to be dominant at Alabama, but I can’t think of a college example.
To nobody’s surprise, FSU dropped out of both polls. Looks like a bleak season for them with Clemson, Miami, Notre Dame and Florida all on the schedule, and a few other non-cupcakes.
