The 4th ranked Northwestern women’s lacrosse team pulled off an 11-9 road upset of #1 Maryland yesterday, the second time this season they’ve beaten the #1 ranked team. (North Carolina was the other win.)

Correction it was 11-10, I forgot the challenge to the final Maryland goal was unsuccessful.
I watched part of the game, MD had good control in the first half - but the ladies turned it up in the 2nd, and it was in Maryland’s Football Stadium as well!
You have to wonder about how we’ll do in the tournament having beaten two of the teams that probably will be in the final rounds as well.
